My preference is for pre- Brent stuff, but I am learning to really enjoy his first few years with them ; so this is cool . As for the "FWs" box ... I could have almost preferred a sort of RTs deal for them, but I will pony up , and enjoy , and hope for the next time .
Sadly, the false rumors concerning the Shrine 67 shows , are for now, just rumors .
I wonder if this is it for the year ?

That is a release that I would get all hot and bothered about .
DD , I would love to write ( talk ) about music with you . I sometimes feel I have to keep my fav albums , era's , ect. to rock music . I know we both get nutty over Bill Evans , among others ( Northern German Baroque music) . One day the jazz and 'classical' will burst forth . :)

One of the good things about the Dead is how they can point to all sorts of music . Classical and jazz, among them . I can come off pretty snooty sometimes, so I have to watch being too pretentious, so I mention it when appropriate to the topic .I sold classical records for so long, got to talk music to lots of folks ( did send you the link to the article the local rag did ?) . Most of my friends who are classical nuts, or jazzbos were my former customers . I don't try to push the music on the uninterested ( not "everybody digs Bill Evans..).. I wish more people were (did), but people who are into the Dead's music , stand a much better chance than most to be exploratory , especially jazz .
If you wish to talk more about this , I'm not sure what is the Archive Protocol, rules etc concerning "contact Information" (?) E-mail ? Facebook ?

Your eccentric punctuation bears an uncanny similarity to that of Dudley D. (Or vice versa - I'm not seeking to establish precedence.) Have you guys been comparing notes?

Well done above . Instructional and razor like . As if they really deserve it .
Maybe instead of patenting Supercilious Heavy Death , I could do a whole " new " English punctuation thingy . Of course , DD and I would have to come to some ' arraignment '.

DD , let's meet down by the docks tonight .
Alone.
We have to talk .

"DD and I would have to come to some ' arraignment '."

Don't you mean arrangement - arraignment being summonsed before a court to face charges? (Although that could fit too under the circumstances...)

... the charges are the abuse of the King's English !
It has been a long time since Collage ( 81 ) , and my spelling, and grammar, etc. have all been forgotten in my long years at Tower . So I beg forgiveness for my "creative " use of the language , which is sometimes my own , and sometimes just ignorance , or clumsiness ( to say nothing of my bad eyesight ).
Back when I was in 7th grade, in the days when they were not afraid to hurt your "self esteem", we had these evaluation tests, I tested with a 12th grade vocabulary, and a 4th grade spelling ! Spellcheck is my best friend !
And Micah we meet at pier 68, at 1pm to plan this "changes" .

Was just listening to 'On A Clear Day You Can See Forever' earlier today from Bill Evans' 'Alone'. Must be somethin' in the air . . .

So I was getting all excited about some Shrine '67 due to the rumors starting to circle here. This will be ok but I was about 100 times more excited about the latest official Gov't Mule release. I am now going to go new age, hold my crystal, check my aura, burn some sage and start the chant.
Care to join me? Perhaps the great Rhino in the sky will hear us.

Shrine 67, Shrine 67, Shrine 67, Shrine 67, Shrine 67, Shrine 67, Shrine 67, Shrine 67, Shrine 67, Shrine 67, young Jerry, young Jerry, young Jerry, young Jerry, young Jerry, young Jerry, young Jerry, young Jerry,
Shrine 67, Shrine 67, Shrine 67, Shrine 67, Shrine 67.

Prophetic my inquiry and snow and rain's prediction coming less than 24 hours before the announcement of these two releases?

In spite of the fact that several of the last few Road Trip releases have been very well choosen, I can't help feeling disapointed that 11/10/67 will not be in my mailbox next month.

But the question remains; will there be any music from the Grateful Dead in my Christmas stocking?
